Technology can enhance learning in so many ways. At Camilla School, classrooms are equipped with technology and digital resources to help support education. As well, we are pleased to offer technology-based programs to help enrich the educational experience.
Digital resources allow students the opportunity to interact with the world outside their classroom. They also help students connect to concepts and express their understanding in different ways. Students are engaged, enthusiastic and motivated to keep learning.
Maker Space Education
Maker Space Education is about providing students opportunities to develop an interest in science, technology, engineering, math, art and learning as a whole through the experience of creation.
Our school creates programs and spaces for students to learn the curriculum through “making.” Activities are age-appropriate and may include:
- Computer programming
- 3D printing and fabrication
From hands-on projects and experiences, students feel a valuable connection to their learning. They understand science and math concepts in a new way, which leads to confidence, enthusiasm and increased interest.
